Requirements

Client and Server Hardware and Software

The illustration below represents a general IT infrastructure with typical 'commodity' servers such as Dell or HP used to support the Immersiv platform.  These servers are usually dual CPUs with 4 GB of RAM and 100+ GB of disk space and hardware requirements may vary if Immersiv is being deployed on a shared environment.  It is important to take bandwidth, security, redundancy and anti virus solutions into account when planning and executing an immersiv deployment.

Requests from the Immersiv client for models and other data via the internet will first hit the firewall, then a switch or load-balancer and then get serviced by one of the servers.  A similar architecture can also be implemented for Intranet.
